Personnel goal setting

The goal setting will lead us to a better future, what we want to achieve in our life. The goal setting is a power full process of think about the future and to motivate our self. By knowing our future through goal setting we can achieve our targets very easily. You should have a dream that you must want to achieve.

Your dream may be whatever you want to achieve. It may be to become political leader, want to buy a big house, a car, or success in the relationship. 

First you should decide for yourself what you really want and it is very important to remember that your goals must be consistent with your values. And also the goal should be bring happiness for your life. Visualization process can make your goal to achieve it. So you have to find a silent place where there is no other disturbance and dream about your goal. Surely you will hypnotize and will achieve it.  

How to set your goal

Your goal must be SMART

S- Specific
M-Measurable
A-Attainable
R-Realistic
T-Timely

Specific
The goal should be straight forward and should be clearly specified that you really want to achieve. Specific is what, why, and how of the smart model. You should answer for these questions clearly according to your goals.

Measurable
Your goal should be measurable. It should be measurable according to your target. If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it. Establish clear criteria for measuring progress toward the attainment of each goal you set. When you measure your progress, you stay on track, reach your target dates, and can experience your achievement.  

Attainable
The goals you set should be achievable. When you identify goals that are most important to you, you begin to figure out ways you can make them come true. You develop that attitudes, abilities, skills, and financial capacity to reach them. Therefore it can be achievable according to your progress to achieve it.

Realistic
The goal you set should be realistic. If it is not realistic it can’t be achieve. The goal needs to be realistic for you and where you are at the moment. Be sure to set goals that you can attain with some effort. Set the bar high enough for a satisfying achievement.

Timed
Set a time for your goal to achieve it. It may be short term or long term. If it is long term it can be achievable. Because short term goals will end up disappointments or depressed.


Finally I would like to say it is very important to write your goals and review it. Writing down your goals creates the roadmap to your success. Although just the act of writing them down can set the process in motion, it is also extremely important to review your goals frequently. Remember, the more focused you are on your goals the more likely you are to accomplish them. Follow these steps and increase your success in your life.
